Armen Keteyian, a CBS new reporter, has had a great career. He’s been awarded 8 Emmy’s and done some great pieces in the sports arena such as a super bowl story about quarterbacks and their sons, coverage on financing of a major league ballpark, and a story about a high school basketball standout in 2001. Whew! And that’s not even an exhaustive list of all his accomplishments.
With this being said, he recently decided to make an attempt at auto blogging. Lucky for the folks who sell the Chicago C70, he decided to test drive and review the newest model. And boy, was he pleased. This says a lot, since Mr. Keteyian has had the opportunity to own many luxury cars over the years.
The 2011 C70 T5 is truly a nice car to cruise around in! It’s top goes down with ease, allowing you to catch a few rays on a nice sunny day, or to feel the cool wind on a crisp fall day. Whatever your preference might be, with top down you get a nice ride and it stows away nicely, leaving even lines and even enough room for some light luggage.
Moreover, the engine helps add to this positive driving experience. With the 2011 Chicago C70 you’ll get a 2.5 liter that produces 227 HP and 236 pound feet of torque. The transmission is a five speed automatic, the same as a Chicago S60 used model I recently came across. The C70 gets estimated gas mileage at 19 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway. Not too bad, because when you get behind the wheel you’ll likely to want to stay here for awhile!
The exterior of the newest C70 T5 is really beautiful. It’s been redesigned a bit versus previous Chicago C70 models. It gets a slimmer body and it’s less boxy. When you look at it head on, you’ll notice a modern design with the way the headlights and front bumper angle up slightly.
The driving experience behind the wheel of the 2011 C70 might leave you breathless and excited for another opportunity to own one, or at least drive one again. Like driving the Chicago S60, cruising around in the C70 will always be a quality ride!
