The Chicago S60 will be revamped for the 2011 car year.  Volvo is planning to sell this sedan in showrooms starting late Summer 2010.

The pictures that have been released show a beautiful interior and exterior.  Even though it will come in a variety of colors, I love the rust/orange shade I have seen online. The design is very modern and sleek looking. The interior of the Chicago new Volvo looks nice as well, with blue and red hues for the gauge lighting and roomy, comfortable looking seats.

How will this new model drive?  Since it will be out mid-2010, this car is currently being reviewed and official production will begin in March 2010.  The S60 sold at your Chicagoland used Volvo dealer was a nice car, but some better options from the competition resulted in lower sales than the company hoped. This edition is promising “dynamic driving properties.”

The Volvo new S60 will most likely have a 4 cylinder, 1.6 L engine, although the exact power-train facts are not known.  It will also contain the pedestrian detection feature, updated cruise control, and body panels with lighter weight.  The Chicago S60 will most likely be available in a Hybrid version sometime down the road.

In a tough economy where all companies hope for profit, Volvo is no exception.  Their plan is for the Chicago new Volvo to wow all those fans out there
